About Scarlett
Scarlett Swiney is the current Miss Lake Martin Alabama 2025 and will participate in the Miss Alabama 2025 competition in June. She is a freshman in the Honors College at Auburn University and a recipient of the Spirit of Auburn Presidential Scholarship, majoring in Biomedical Sciences on the Pre-Medical Track.

Cahaba Valley Health Care is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide free dental and vision services for people in financial need in Jefferson and Shelby counties, while maintaining dignity, respecting cultural diversity, and strengthening the community.
Scarlett recognizes the urgent need to raise awareness about the More for Your Smile Alabama campaign and has personally visited dental offices to share its message. Alabama's current dental insurance policies often create barriers to care, making reform not only necessary, but long overdue
A study released by the Alabama Department of Public Health in 2022 found that nearly half of Alabama's kindergarteners and 3rd graders suffer from tooth decay. If we can be proactive about prevention education in schools, we can greatly reduce this statistic.
